My neighbor walked over this morning and asked if I had a trigger spring for the gun he had bought over the weekend. I said of course I have one. We went in my shop and I put in a new trigger spring in his Marlin derringer. These are petty rare guns.

Is there a name marked on the gun, probably on the top of the barrel? Such as "Victor", "Never Miss", or "OK"?

What caliber is that? Does it just look like a brass frame, or is it a brass frame?

I don't always shoot Derringers, but when I do I prefer Marlin.

Does the barrel pivot to the side? It looks like it could not tilt.

Yes. There is no provision for an extractor.
I never asked what he paid, though they are not really worth very much.
