I love to watch Zombie Movies especial those Romero films.

I guess you could say the genre is something you can really sink your teeth into and the plots are meaty.

Heh.. It's pretty much all I watch now, but sifting through the junk is tedious.

+1, I think 28 Days was the best zombie movie in years! I was disappointed with 28 Weeks.

And again I agree, sifting through the REALLY bad ones to find the pretty bad ones is hard, but there aren't that many decent ones out there.

    ZOMBIELAND:D:D:D
Any movie where Bill Murry is mistaken for a zombie and shot is funny

Most of Romero's stuff rocks and I loved Zombie Land.

Is "The Walking Dead" any good I haven't watched it(we don't have Cable or Dish)?

I thought "The Walking Dead" series was worth watching. Not huge budget stuff, but great special effects, and definitely plausible plot. I'd watch it again...

    Some recent ones I've seen:

The Horde (French, with English subtitles)
    Mutants (French, with English subtitles)
    The Vanguard
    Beast Within

They were OK. Of those, The Horde was probably the best. My favorites include:

    28 Days Later
The Walking Dead (the AMC series)
    Shaun of the Dead
    The Crazies

    Dead Snow is great.

I was not a fan of Walking Dead as it stole a lot of plot elements from earlier zombie movies.

    I love Romero as well.

I didn't realize Dead Snow was a real movie. I found this clip a while back when I was trying to find free zombie movies on the net, and thought it was some parity...(gross, but funny)...

A good one that nobody mentioned is "I am Omega."

    Anyone know that one?

Was that the other version of "Omega Man"/"I am Legend"? With Mark Dacascos (sp?) the martial artist/chef guy?

I am Omega was the Decascos (sp) movie, I believe. He was competing in martial arts since he was like 4 or something. Shihan has the answers. He and I had this conversation before. In "I am Omega" he blew up Los Angeles with timed charges in the end. "I am Legend" was the Will Smith one, but the zombies were solely nocturnal as if they were crossed with vampires. Was there another "Omega" movie? (of course the omega reference is to being the last, as in the the last letter of the Greek alphabet)

Omega Man with Charlton Heston. Classic. It was the first movie version of "I am Legend", from back in the early '70s.

I never saw "I am Omega", but will try to find it.
