You would think that we would learn.

    A captain named Ahab.

A rickety boat that makes the S.S. Minnow look like a luxury yacht.

A sailing plan that includes such great verbiage as "We'll scoot around these rock thingies here and then catch the slip stream majigger right into the open water of the Marianas where the truly big’ins lie"

Alas, another fine collection joins Davey Jones' growing collection.

I am sorry for your loss my Brother *tear*

And there was this flooded road crossing on the way home from the FTF Texas meet and shoot, I lost every firearm I ever owned.

I understand you pain, Opaww. Been there and done that. Someday, a salvage crew will think they have come across some old shipwreck that was carrying guns for the king or something...just be happy you were able to keep ahold of your car keys. It sucks when you have to swim and walk. Ask JD.

There is something to be said for having a travel insurance policy.

Guys- I'd appreciate it you found some deeper water. Lately there have been so many guns lost overboard that I have lost 3 shear pins and one prop on my outboard- and I think the damn fish are starting to get organized. Arming bears is one thing, but bass and chain pickerel with shotguns is something else.....

At least you knew how to swim and made it to shore. Too bad you can't remember where it all happened, due to that bump on the head.

TX, you are not the only one. They may call RV's land yachts, but they do not float, ours sank while trying to cross the flooded road, Dz and I barely made it out.
