I picked up two rifles and both have scopes. One is a bsa classic. The other is a simmons that says 4 x32. 8-point. I am a total scope noob but I figure either way I'm keeping a cheap scope. My question is which should I put on the 308 and which should I put on the mosin? Thansk for any help/opinions.

My brother shoots a Simmons on his 30-06 and it has held up for years. Never saw a BSA.

    greeny,

My advise would be the Simmons over the BSA. Simmons makes a good quality scope for the money (inexpensive) scope.
Unless BSA has come along way their older optics S-----d. Haven't purchased anything from them for a long time after the first experience. That scope had parallax out the ying yang!
