i was curious what kind of wear and tear extream cold and heat fluctuation would do to unfired rounds? they are about 2-3 yrs old and have been in a basement and then moved to a garage where they have gone from hot to the most recent cold and then to a climate controled area, im wondering if they would be safe to shoot:confused: thanx in advance

The #1 problem with .22lr ammo is the priming compound in the rim will dry out and crumble away leading to failures to fire. .22's rarely have squib load that lead to bullets stuck in the barrel. They either go bang or don't go bang, Period.
