I've been eyeballing this gun for 3 months. We finally got 22 WMR in stock. So...I snagged it.
What do you guys think?
I'll probably clean it up and refurbish the stock.

Btw I payed $175.
Nice looking Marlin rifle,I'd say you did good.
Yep. Ya did well!!
I'll give you $175.50 right now. That's 50 cents pure profit! ;) Great gun. I love Marlins.
Marlin 783? THe 782 had a mag that loaded form underneath if I remember.
I have one that looks a lot like that. Best 22 WMR I've ever shot.

A little TLC with the wood and you will have a great looking and great working rifle. And you got it at a great price :)
Thanks guys. I'll post more pics when I get a chance to clean it up.

Very Nice pickup I must say.... :D
Very nice, great stock and sling!
Sling still needs some conditioning. Lol
Nice gun. I'm starting to think used rifles are so much better. As cleaning them up is just a much fun as shooting them.
Beautiful rifle.
A good scope would not be wasted on that rifle!

Finding an older rifle and bringing it back to it's glory is a great feeling. This along wit hthe fact that there are some real good shooters bade back-when and it's a great way to get a lot of gun while maybe saving a few bucks.:)

Hell of a deal, with a little cleaning and a new finish that could be a fine little rifle.
