I have always wanted a nice scope so yesterday I bought a Nightforce 3.5-15X50 NSX Zero Stop and mounted it on my M700 Mil Spec 5R .308 with a Warne 20 MOA base and Nightforce rings. It may not improve my shooting at 66 yo but at least I have one now.
I set up the sled on my back deck this morning and bore sighted it at about 50 yds and tomorrow I will take it to the range and zero it at 100 yds. Maybe next week if the wind calms down some and it warms up a bit, I will go back to the hunting camp and take the combo into the woods for one last time this year. The cold doesn't bother me too much, but combined with a 20 mph wind, I just can't handle it.

Nice! NightForce makes some very durable scope. Can't wait for the range report.
