So I'm selling my Taurus pt1911 and along with what I'm getting for it I can either get Sig p226 (one gun) or used beretta 96 and and brand new fn .45 I have a full size Sig p250 but have wanted a 229 or 226 bit every time I get the money for one it always makes more sense to by more than one last time I had the money I bought the pt1911 and the glock 20. What do you guys think. Criticize or comments welcome.

Sounds like you've already proven to yourself that "two" less expensive gun's don't really equal the "one" more expensive gun your REALLY want to own.;)

    You know what to do...:)

Get the 226. You can always buy another gun down the road. This way, you'll have what you've been wanting. ;)

I'd get the Berretta and the FN. How often do you think he's going to want to shoot the 250 if he has a 226? I like the fact I can choose between SIG, Beretta, or Glock.
    VIVA la difference!

I guess it just really all boils down to how bad you want the 226. If you're willing to get the other two and miss out getting the Sig again at the cost of getting two guns instead of one then go that route. Either way, post the pr0n when you've made your decision!

should have blocked out price sorry not trying to be tacky tried to edit but couldnt figure out how to cut pic. But we all know this hobby ain't cheap. The reson I got rid of the pt 1911 was because i had problems with the safety. i was showing one of my friends with the gun (unloaded) of course how to draw a 1911 and the safety got stuck in between safe and fire apparently this is a common problem that can be solved with a different safety and gun smith tooling with it. But im not a big fan of customizing anything that involves my safety and others. shoot it the way it came, plus i just bought a springfield mil spec last month so im not out the 1911 game
