    hey,
So I was cleaning my revolver and I took the grips off. There was a screw to I looseness it and well at metal rail fell out. It was in between the the metal of the front and back of the grip. I can't seem to get the gun back together now.:mad::mad: Does anyone have any suggestions. I am lost and call fail on myself.

    Note: its a S&W mod 19-3 .357 4"

We have several revolver guys here. Someone will know. Do you have any pictures that might help in the diagnosis?

You removed the mainspring. Loosen the strain screw more and insert the top of the spring into the hammer. Then slide the bottom back into the frame under the strain screw and tighten the screw. Oops-didn't read all the way down.

I did this once...paid $14 to a gunsmith to show me how to fix it. That was a long time ago and think the price was worth the education. Bear is giving it away for free:p
