I could use some help! Clement arms???

    I have this little hand gun tje barrel is 1-1/4 long it has clement arms co stamped in it . Also belgium on barrel. and the woulds "the baby".it allso has a p with a star overit sideway over # 38.I find the #38 in 3 other places . on the inside of the grips it stamped J L . it has a folding trigger no gaurd. over all its a little over 4' long. I know there is no.way its a 38. but 22 shorts fit in it great.
    I needs a grip spring that has been broken

    can any one help me out with info on the little gal

    Please do not use modern 22 shorts in your "puppy". They were called puppies, because they were a minature "Bulldog" revolver- yours was likely made for BLACK POWDER shorts.

    Chas Clement was from Liege Belgium- cranked out a LOT of guns between 1893 and 1912. You will need to find a smith that will make you a spring.

    thanks shooter that link helped me out a lot.now if i could find a grip spring i would ready to go.
