I was wondering how much black powder I would need to put into my .44 cailbers revolvers?

Enough to get the ball out the end of the barrel, too much and you can't seat the ball deep enough to clear the forcing cone.
Also the most important part is to be sure that the ball is resting on the powder, no matter what, no air space.
