I can't remember where I heard this, but someone told me you should have at least 1000 rounds of ammo at home for each type of handgun you own. I have more than 3 handguns, but they are all either 380, 9mm, or .40. So, I have 1000 rounds (or more) of each. I wouldn't consider myself crazy, but I think the day may come when we'll rely more and more on ourselves for protection. As such, I don't ever intend to stop stocking up ... in fact, I'm working now on my '1000' rounds to be bonded JHP of each caliber. (Currently, most is just range ammo) Thoughts? I know a guy who has a variety of AR-15, AK47 type rifles, and he must have at least 15,000 rounds in his basement.
