    Hello
I was wondering if some come across the same thing as me at times?
I have been carrying for many many years a 1911 pistol chambered in 45 acp or 10mm.

Every once in awhile for some unknown reason I get a hankering to change my carry. This last time was a XDM 45 bought one put it thru the paces with a thousand rds added it to my hip for carry. very good gun shoots very well and dependable oh and to me a very comfy grip/Ergonomics.

But after a short time meaning a week or so I just can not fight the urge to go back to one of my 1911's.

That's my question anyone else go thru that?:D

We all have a guardian angel and I think both you and I have the same one, maybe two.

Yes, but I look at "where am I going", "what will I be doing", "who should I see there", "what do I expect layout to be".
What I carry is based on circumstances, not on desires.
    Sometimes it's hard to carry a M1911a1 in Speedo's.

    I will never tire of carrying a 1911 45acp.

Yes, I have and do carry others but mostly due to what is needed at my destination due to dress.

Since 1966 the gun of my choice has been a 1911. While the guns may have changed (still have them all) the 1911 is the sidearm to carry.

While I will seldom tire of carrying my STI 2011 with a 15rd mag i8n 45acp, Lately I have relished the lightweight FNH USG 5.7x28 with it's 30rd mag, what with the triple digit temp & the rise in humidity (monsoon season in AZ) the extra weight just doesn't merit the additional sweat
