Well I think I can tell you what you wont be using it for and that is as a concealed carry piece .

Other than that you're on your own .

I hope you don't have to explain it to a wife , if so record it for us and post it , should make for some great comedy relief .

Yeah, I am thinking it wasn't used much. Not a very good choice for a "plinker".

I fired one of those when the .44 version first came out. I SOOO wanted a true .44 Magnum Autoloader like Mack Bolan had. It was a disease that I needed to find a cure for. Shooting that big bastard, with that oversized grip and that massive recoil, was the cure... LOL

Best of luck Jeep - I hope you love it...

JD-
Mack Bolan? Are you frikkin kidding me? I didn't think anyone else had ever heard of those books! I was addicted to those when I was a kid! The Executioner and his Beretta 93R... Maybe I'll dig some of those out.

As for the Desert Eagle, as soon as I can find some 50 AE for less than $27.00/ 20, I need to see what it'll do, besides break my ammo budget for the year.

Hope you like getting hit in the face with brass.

Let me say this first "IT IS YOUR GUN AND YOUR MONEY". Now let me say this I would never admit to owning one of them boat anchors in my life. They are just about worthless for anything other than a Matrix movie.

I shot one once and every time I pulled the trigger the stupid thing spit brass right between my eyes. No, I was not limpwristing it either. To me it is a design flaw in the action of the pistol with the rotating bolt. I would take that thing and trade it in on a good 500 smith and Wesson mag. That way you can have a real hand cannon.

Yeah dude, I read and collected about 200 of them, from the first one well up into the split off of Able Team & Phoenix Force ( all of which I have stashed in storage under years of dust). I still love David McCarter as one of the best fiction characters in the whole series. I still find myself buying one at the airport before a long plane ride. :D

Aaron "The Bear", Bolan's Armorer, was the reason I started studying modern firearms and how they worked in the first place. Wanted to be the modern day equivalent... LOL

Good times - from a much more careful world of school and a part time job...

I like it! Mine is the .44 Mag version and I carry it with the 10 round extended magazines. First thing you need to carry it is a good holster. I get mine from Ted Blocker, I have a couple of IWB and a couple of Shoulder Holsters, (1 horizontal& 1 vertical) I prefer the IWB with a good belt! I had mine Magna-Ported years back, shoots double&triple taps accurately now. BTW the brass in the face just needs an adjustment, no gun is really designed to shoot hot brass into the shooters face:D

Y'all are talking some beastly handguns here! Those D Eagles are huge. I have several (wheelgun) 44 Mags and they are heavy... for conceal carry anyway, and you guys want to haul those monsters around? That's OK, to each his own.

You'd be suprised how fast you'll get used to it with a great holster, besides I get 11 rounds of .44 mag, still lighter than 2 revolvers!:D

I read every Mack Bolan book from the first one until about 1997 or so.. As well as all the Able Team and Phoenix Force books.

You're the first person I've ever come across to reference Mack on the web!

Actually I finished taking my CCW class last week, I was gonna check into a crotch holster:D`
If you have room in your crotch for that huge gun and holster you couldn't possibly have room for very much of anything else. Please don't take offense because I meant it only to be funny and just couldn't resist because you made it so easy.:D:D:D
