Credit. Gotta have those airline miles. Pay it off at end of month, get the miles for free. Just wish I could make my house payment with the thing.;)

Pay the bill in full each month. Have had a couple of times I had to dispute a charge. Being on a credit card helps a lot. Company assured me an item I needed for work was in stock- a week later, had not shipped it. When they told me was not in stock, cancelled the order. They shipped it next day. When I refused delivery (had bought another elsewhere) they wanted to charge me return shipping and a restock fee. Disputed it to AMEX, who refunded money, told merchant to pound sand.

We always use credit. We get cash back and in the 12 years my wife and I have been married, never carried a balance.
    It pays to Discover...

    Cash is king!
I still love the feeling of a few crisp Franklins in the wallet.
Felt better a few years ago though :)

depends on where I am...at supermarket, Lowes, wallyworld always credit or debit....quick run to WaWA is cash. I hate being in line behind someone using a debit card for a $.99 pack of gum but kids don't seem to carry cash these days.

Pretty much refuse to carry cash. Use ATM Debit card mostly. Use real credit card for a couple of tanks of gas a month and pay off monthly to keep some semblance of this s***ty kind of credit for rating.

I use a Debit card as a credit card. I RARELY have any cash on me. Or not much more than $5, anyway.

I normally carry cash for small purchases like that.
I do not let my card leave my eye sight when someone else has it (store clerk, etc..)

I always pay cash at clubs, diners, coffee shops.

I pay with a credit card for everything, even purchases that are a couple of dollars, because of rewards.

Stupid logic though since credit card fees raise consumer goods.

    yep, same here.

Here is another thing I do though. If I am asked "credit or debit", how I run it depends on the amount. Since credit cards charge 3% and debit cards charge $0.50 per transaction, if it's $15 or less I'll run it as a credit card (= $0.45), if it's more than $15 it gets debited.

I also always run it as a credit card when filling up with gas. When filling up, if you use it as a debit card, the bank will hold out $75 until the actual charge comes in. If you run it as a credit card they will only hold out $1, and some weeks, than makes all the difference.
