I can barely figure out how to load my pictures here let alone combine them with stuff like that.
Today's material is camel bone. I usually mount camel bone to a wood "backer" for two reasons -
1) the camel bone is usually not wide enough on it's own to get a full grip width out of and needs the extra width the wood can provide
2) the resulting framed look is just uber cooll.
The backing wood can be a real nice detail and add to the overall package. A bloodwood frame over a black frame and under the cream color of the bone is very nice.
The set in this picture is camel bone over Afzelia Xylay and is cut for a magwell setup that the owner has. Just another cool thing to do with grips.
