    What kind of hot dogs do you prefer? Does it matter to you at all?

    How do you cook them.......microwave, boil, broil, fry, on the grill, bake wrapped in bacon........?

    hebrew national is my favorite. i fry em in bacon grease now and then which is about as naughty good as you can get for a hotdog. prolly not something to do all the time

    mostly roasted over oak coals is how i cook em

    Anything all beef really. put it on a CHARCOAL grill then add the onion tomatoe relish pickle cucumber salt peppers and bam got your self a legit dog.

    Ive tended to stick with oscar meyer, ive tried the hebrew national and i just didnt care for them that much. I like them char grilled with chili,onion, and mustard.

    I like to wrap a all beef hotdog w/ 2 slices of bacon, pin them and deep fry until bacon is crispy . Cardiac arrest but damn good !!!!

    Nothing like some burnt ball park franks either on a propane grill or over an open fire. And they plump when u cook them

    Nathan's, slowly beer steamed. Then top with Cincinnati Recipe chili which has been doctored with ground beef, a little garlic, cayenne, and sugar.

    Haha......well, not only the bacon but the deep frying part really got my attention. Everything is better with bacon..........and deep fried. :cool:

    I either fry or grill 'em until they're blackened. Eat 'em with spicy brown mustard and a pickle wedge.

    Hebrew National with cheddar cheese wrapped in pretzel dough. My wife makes a really good pretzel dog!

    I don't normally eat hot dogs and its funny to see this thread because the last 2 weeks ive been on a hot dog binge (I actually asked my wife to take a pregnancy test because before my son was born, I was the one that got the strange cravings. Lol) At least 1 hot dog a day for the last 13 days.
    Raw onions, relish and mustard... or...
    Onions, sauerkraut and bacon.

    I like the Oscar Meyer brand. I prefer all beef franks and their Select line are especially good.
