Which one do you prefer?
I like Speer Gold Dot hollow points, but I prefer the 147gr version. Either one is a good choice for self defence/carry, and it's mainly going to boil down to personal preference.
Use Speer Gold Dot 124 gr +P in all my full size 9mm.
Use Hornady CD in all my small 9mms and pocket .380s.
Across the board, Gold Dot. In 9mm 124+P, .40 180, .45 230
I just got a bunch of zombie max ammo people love it same ammo just cool box with green filler.
Of all the hallow points I go with Hornady Critical Defense, as it is created
to go through heavy clothing without getting snagged up in the clothing threads,
as does other hallow point ammos. But in summer seasons I carry both in mag.
You may want check out Hornady's Critcal Duty thats comeing out. This maybe what pl and CDease's the rest of the folks that don't see the difference between personal defence ammo and a leo rated ammo. Looks the same but way different too.
I shot both GD and CD , just depends on the firearm.
