    I ordered my new HD shotgun & 5 boxes of shells, 2&3/4 in. #5`s yesterday.........

    Here is what I ordered.

    I am so glad I am not you.

    Hopefully you have a bearish build,

    and are strong enough to handle the recoil

    and muzzle blast. I was talking to someone

    just last week who fractured bones in his

    hand, first time he fired something like this.

    You should be good with the 2&3/4" shells but I wouldn't want to fire it with high brass 3" shells! :)

    Tom congrats on the new Raging Judge,what barrel length did you order and will it also shoot the 454 casull cartridge?

    just google'd and its pretty cool looking...might have a hard time finding ammo for a while, don't see many people shooting the 28 gage these days, so at first the ammo selection will be small I recon

    Nice! that may be a good revolver to use for partridge hunting as well :)

    Most people who are serious about shooting skeet, trap or sporting clays have a 28 ga. The 28 ga matches are always the most prestigious. Most competent shotgunners can shoot a perfect round with 12 ga 1 1/8 oz loads. Shooting a perfect round with half as much shot is a challenge.

    I did not know that the 28 ga was popular for that purpose, I can see how it would make a good challenge
