6 minutes of a dad video taping kids slip on ice ......
I watched it the other day and while I admit that I laughed I don't think its very funny. If it had been me I would not have sat in the car taking video. Just saying. I would more likely have been out there and seeing if I could "skate" the corner and encouraging the kids to do the same (making them aware of the hazard and having fun with it at the same time). Two different ways of enjoying the same activity I guess.
I guess (10 char)
The kids that fell, fell off the ground. A bruised butt was a common occurrence in my youth; even without the ice.
I wiped out and landed square on my a$$ last week, coming out of work. I'm sure, that if anybody was watching, they had to be laughing so hard they pissed themselves. It was one of those slow motion one leg up in the air sliding on the other foot, attache dropping, cell phone flying deals.
I would of been one of them
november before last, i slipped and fell and it cost me two broken ribs and two cracked ribs. it was funny in one way, but it sure hurt like hell.
A guy I used to work with was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska with the Army. The entryways to the buildings would get very icy from all the foot traffic. Of course, all entry ways were monitored by video. He told me they had a whole collection of people slipping and falling in as they walked into the building. It kept them entertained while on watch.
I admit I laughed at the video but I must admit I am terrified of falling on ice. I fell in the parking lot at work and hurt my shoulder. And I had trouble getting my feet under me because it was so icy.
