Our national paramilitary police, the RCMP, cordoned off the town during and after a flood and would not let anyone return for 2 weeks. Too dangerous, they said. During that time, they kicked in the doors of 1,900 homes (out of a total of 5,300 in High River) and searched for guns and ammo, which they seized.

Some homes were searched more than once. Why? Because we are required to have a licence to own a firearm and pistols have to be registered. They knew where to look.

It's also on Netflix as well.....I'm not sure if it's on the American version or not though.

    And YouTube:

We simply cannot tolerate this kind of organized tyranny from the police. A full blown judicial inquiry with sanction powers is the only rational solution. Spread the word...it's important. It's important for all of us, including righteous cops. This cannot stand.

The RCMP is nothing more than armed thugs. I was held in Canada for 6 Hrs. because I had a U.S. Concealed Carry permit. I ask for help form the U.S. Consulate, I was quickly released. I would never visit Canada for any reason. :(

I remember taking a cruise to Canada ( I have gone 2x on Cruises with a Canadian ports of call) and seeing several passengers pulled off the ship and arrested for possession of various controlled substances. It Was a singles Cruise(about 2001) so I'm not surprised that that happened, but I was surprised at how they were being treated, as if they were cartel dealers themselves....also happened on our Cruise to Bermuda in 2011...

Quite true. And we keep what we tolerate.
