As far as I know, there're 2 version of Hi-Power: Browning Hi-Power MKIII (with plastic and wood grips) and FNH Hi-Power MKIII (plastic grip only). Is there any difference between the two? I think the FHN one is "Made in Belgium" while the Browning is "Made in Belgium and assembled in Portugal".

Another questions regarding the rear sight. Browning Hi-Power offers 2 options: fixed rear sight and adjustable rear sight. Any advantage of one over the other? The adjustable rear sight is $70 more.

BTW, does a brand new Browning come with 2 magzines?
    Thanks.

the info on brownings web page implies 2 mags:
as for sights its a matter of personal taste. i dont like adjustable sights more parts to break and they get snagged.

if i was going to buy a 9mm it would be a cz75. even tho john browning designed the hi-power the cz75 is a better pistol.
