My name's Brian and I'm from E. Pennsylvania, New Jersey originally. I've always loved guns but I've never been able to expand my collection, since I was living at home. I have a mossberg .22 and an old pump 12 gauge that I haven't used in a while. I shoot the .22 a lot at the range, but I just got into hunting, so I'll be picking up a 30-06 as soon as I can afford one, I just have to get my PA id first. Any recommendations on good buys? I was thinking of a Remington 715 or a 700 if funds allow.

Welcome to the boards. Sorry I can't help you there, Iowa is a Shotgun only State for deer except for the late doe only season and I just haven't found that funds to buy a rifle for one season.
