Welcome new Firearmstalk brothers.
I have only been on here a few days myself but let me welcome both of you. dvrsafe, where in N.J. are you. My wife of 30 years is from there and my brother in law still lives there on the shore. Leonardo if you know where that is. Its near Sandy Hook. But now she has lived in Georgia for longer than she lived in N.J.

Long Branch in Monmouth County. Near Asbury Park if that sounds familiar. Not too far from Sandy Hook, in fact I go riding up there on my scoot quite often. Sandy Hook and The Atlantic Highlands. Some beautiful riding there. I'm about a mile from the shore, right now we're melting from the heat, waiting for the rains to come (shortly)...

My wife said she spent a lot of time years ago at Sea Bright and the boardwalk at Asbury Park. She graduated from MTHS in 1972. My brother in law brought a cottage on the shore in Leonardo years ago and has remodeled it and added a second floor. It faces Raritan Bay. I have a picture his wife took of the skyline of NYC from their 2nd floor deck in August 2001 with the WTC's and another after 9/11 from the same deck with the spotlights shining into the sky. He works for a Mercedes dealership in Little Silver.

Thanks all. Born and bred in NYC so I can dish it out and take it too.
