Ive been looking for a bigger safe for a while and finally got the wife to go with me and look. We went to a local locksmith and we were there for over an hour. I looked at everything from $600 to $11,000 safes. He showed me about 10 brands and 100 different sizes. From his experience his clients have had very good things to say about the Heritage safes. So we bought a CX4372, 43" wide, 72" tall, 28" deep. Weights in at 1075 lbs and says it will hold 56 firearms. I know that will never happen but its defenitly huge compared to the current safe I have. Its got a mechanical lock and is like a textured grey color. Its getting delivered Monday morning and I cant wait to put some items inside it. Thats just a picture I got online but very similar in size.

Looks good to me. What did that run you?
In my experience you can never comfortably fit as many guns as they claim. When it comes time for a new safe that is exactly the capacity I'll be looking for.

Ouch. That's why I haven't made the improvement yet. You gotta figure half that price is worth the delivery. Lol

Yah my driveway is pretty steep. Its defenitly worth that price to get it delivered. But I will love the fact that all my firearms will fit for now and they are in an actual safe. Me and my wife are going for a little motorcycle ride in August and we will be gone for almost 10 days. So knowing they will be secure is a plus for me.

I always figure it will hold 1/2 -3/4 capacity of what they claim without letting them touch , I have found out that if they touch they start to multiply very rapidly ;)

Nice safe. Good buy. I'll be getting mine within a year or so. Haven't decided what we want yet.

Sounds like a good problem to have.

"Honey, we have to buy another gun safe."

    "Why?"

"The guns are trying to be rabbits again!"

I cant complain half of the handguns are my wifes, she likes shooting just as much as I do. Two weeks ago it was my new Glock 21 and her Ruger Lc9. Last week was my S&W 629, and I bought my safe. I dont think I will have a problem convincing her that we need more firearms.
