I just purchased a .3030 Henry lever action (#H009) and the only base mounts I have found was the Henry Cantilever Scope mounts and looking for a different option. I don't want to have to take it to a smith to mount the base for me/drill anything else. So what are my options? I will be mounting a Nikon Prostaff Rifle Scope 3-9x40 w/BDC. Thanks for any help!

Edit: Should I just keep the scope off and wait for a different rifle to put it on? I know the classic lever action look and western style is the good ole' iron sights. I don't really plan on hunting right away with this gun, right now only planning on having some fun at the range.
