I have an opportunity to buy an H&R Trapper .22 revolver. It's kind of rough looking and has no grips. I think it could be a fun restoration project but don't know anything about it. I can't seem to find grips online so I would probably make some. The price is a hundred bucks. Should I get it or not?

Buy it then have texaswoodworker make you some grips for it.

In your opinion is it better to keep the hundred bucks probably closer to 150 all said and done?
Me? If i wanted a project & the gun was "sound" I'd offer & pay $75 for it. I like the old H&R DA revolvers :)

I saw in another thread the pic of yours. I think I am going to offer 60 max at 75 then I can get the grips and only have a hundred into it.

Im not sure its worth 20 in that condition.

They are about 220$ nib condition. What you got there is no where near the 100$ mark.

They arent rated for 22lr anyway only long and short.
