There must be some "down the trail" places to shoot in Pickens or Oconee counties. Been to the Pickens range but can't have any fun...unless shooting a paper excites you. Been to Cedar Creek and it's way to busy. Want some unobstructed and non distacting instructional time with my wife. Any ideas where?

Narrow the area down to a state and we might be able to help more.

Ask at the local gun shop. Some have bulletin boards for things like this.

Interstate medians provide good shooting opportunities. On a good level spot you can get in some really long range shooting. It is probably best to limit your range time to about 15 minutes as those pesky state troopers can get pissy about it. ;)

Sounds like a nice grassy knoll.
