Hi there. I'm locally in Vegas too. I always go to the Clark County outdoor range on N. Decatur.

I live about 2 miles from the range. I am always up there too. I love the pistol and rifle range but the skeet and trap range not so much.

I go there once every 2-3 weeks. But now not as often as i just have a newborn baby boy. And i always go to New Frontier Armory by centennial & 5th st. Great prices & great staffs!

Congears on the new baby. Yeah they will consume your world. I like New Frontier as well. I know most of the workers there and my friend sells some survival kits from Battle born. There is a new store that just opened by the target off Skypoint. Citizens guns. Went there today. Really nice store and the staff is great. They have lots of accessories and t-shirts and the prices are great.
The heat will keep me away from the range and I will end up making the drive to Amercian Shooters. Wish we had an indoor range out here in the Nw.

Vegas Location to Shot shotgun

I'm going to be around the Vegas area in a month or so and I am interested in finding a legal place to shot my 12ga with some clays. Is there a map that shows what areas I can do this in? The sporting clay places can be a bit costly so I'm looking to go a much cheaper route. Any suggestions?

Have only been out here for a couple months so I'm still trying to get my bearings on some out door shooting spots. As I said above the multi-million dollar shooting park on Decauter is awesome.

Rifle, pistol, clays, even a cafe.

Now if your into serious training (as we all should be) there is the infamous Frontsight Firearms Training Institute in Pahrump.

They have lifetime memberships that include
Automatic weapons training (Uzi or M-16, provided by them), pistol, rifle and shotgun training from basic to tactical and beyond, defensive driving, hand to hand, knife fighting, rope, rappel, and executive protection.

It's the Disneyland for gun owners.

Las Vegas is a great place to be a shooter..

Finally made it up to the park it is beautiful the only problem is my days off are Monday Tuesday. Guess which two days the park is closed for maintenance.

That sucks!!
Took my kid out today to shoot Trap. He is sore but happy. Sporting clays course opens in February.

Being Vegas, February is still shooting weather.
