New user here, excited to begin my adventure into firearms.

I have shot off and on all my young life, but very little as an adult. Now that I am in my thirties, I want to own and carry firearms as personal protection.

I have started off with a Bersa Thunder .380 from a friend, and plan on buying a CC revolver (most likely) or CC pistol very soon.

I love animals, mushrooms, science, nature, and activism.

Hello. I am from ohio. I had the chance to visit Seattle in September. It was a blast. Plus a cruise to Alaska. Then 2 days on Olympic peninsula. I had the time of my life and hope to come back before I die. But have other places I want to explore too.
So do u have morel or sponge mushrooms there in Washington? I'm assuming when u said mushrooms was an interest you meant hunting them, but maybe not.

I have an interest in hunting, photographing, and databasing ALL species of fungi.

We have a great morel season, and several species of both fire and natural Morchella. Not sure which mushroom you speak of when mentioning sponge mushrooms. Boletes? We probably have them though, as the PNW is a very fungally diverse region.

Welcome from Ohio. Love morels here, but the last couple years haven't been too productive. I saw in a catalog some turkey tails, and I see something growing wild that looks just like it. Is there more than one type, or something that looks similar that isn't edible?
