Born in Wichita Falls, raised in Burkburnett. I married a southern belle out here in Virginia. You can take the boy out of Texas but you can't take the Texas out of the boy....;)Hiya fellas!

Hey, North Carolina, which tax laws are you talking about? You know, we have no state income tax...yet. Our property taxes are a crime. Otherwise, I didn't think Texas was particularly out of line, especially considering that we're providing food, housing, and medical care at no charge to a quarter of the population of Mexico!

Yeah, let's kick this state thing off with some politically incorrect opinion!

Yes,There are quite a few Texans on this forum.
I'm a native Texan with very deep roots here, and reside south of Cowtown.

It would be nice if we could get a big meet & greet setup this year.
Last year was a bust since the economy was in the can,but we had a great meet & great 2 years ago thanks to Lonyaeger and the grand facilities that he provided to the members that showed up.

Hello from Denton County, but born and raised in West Texas (no better place on earth). However, anywhere in Texas is better than anywhere else on earth. I'm a senior citizen, a concealed carrier for over 45 years and always will be. Never needed my firearm and hope I never will, but I'm trained, practiced, and able if need be.

Well...as someone from Denton County...I can say that aside from our illegal immigration plague (and those damn sanctuary cities), and property taxes that are going to pay for the same....I can't think of any other state that I could possibly live in.......what can I say, we live in Gods country!

I grew up just south of Wichita Falls, in Young County. Now instead of the Okies, I watch out for these dirty Austin hippies! :D
