Hey Guys,

I just got my first rifle. Lots of questions. I got a 1955 Win .308 lever action.
I am glad I found this site and will be reading and learning a lot.

Not quite. Marysville is the city, but Mt. Pilchuck is the highest peak around there and dominates the skyline - so Marysville-Pilchuck, and because we had to sensitive to the Indian folks on the reservation, we were called the Tomahawks.

Used to make a good war cry going into sporting events though.

"We are! *CLAP CLAP* "Tomahawks!" *CLAP CLAP* repeat

Well, it was cool at the time.

That is not PC!!

I like Philf#@ks better. Think about it: *Loudly* Pilchucks-Philf#@ks! *repeat* Kinda like 'Rawwkhawwk-jaayyhawwk'. :D
Welcome from Venezuela

Welcome and glad to have you around :D
Welcome to the forum and the craziness

:D
Welcome Newhunter,
Lots of good people here.
1955 Win .308 lever action is a nice rifle and if you want to shoot it there is a long rifle range on eby island just off highway 2, about half way across the everett tressle. What do you plan to hunt?

I didn't know that Dill was a Marysville Tomahawk as I was an Arlington Eagel a few decades ago. I always knew there was something about Dill that smelt like strawberries.

It's a small world after all, I live in Marysville and honestly enjoy love living in the NW.

So welcome to the forum New hunter you are well represented in the forum and there are a lot of good people here.
