Hi there! I have been lurking for quite some time. I finally decided to join the forum. I have my CCW and just started getting serious about actually carrying all of the time. There is a lot of crime here - but that seems to be the norm nowadays. My husband and I have a small collection of five guns right now, but I'm sure the collection will grow!

I am a teacher. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, camping, boating, yoga, reading, traveling and shooting.

I practice at the range as often as I can. There isn't any point in having a gun if you can't shoot it accurately!

Are there many women on this forum? I hope so!

They are! Except that most of them wouldn't go near a gun if you paid them. Guess I'll have to be the one to save them if some crazy gunman comes running through our school!

How do u like Arizona? I lived there in Tuscan for two years and loved it.

I love Arizona. I used to love Tucson, but it isn't so great anymore. I'm originally from New Jersey and I really miss the seasons, grass and bodies of water.

I wish I lived in Scottsdale! If I decided to stop teaching and get a job that actually paid well, we could afford to live there. Maybe someday.
