And another old gem from my father-in-laws closet. This seems to even be unfired. Has original box, warranty paperwork, bill of sale and hang tag. Looks like it has steel inserts in alloy for the cylinder chambers, and barrel.

What caliber is it? That looks he bought it & hid it from his wife, then forgot where he put it.:D

I get it. These are someone else’s collection. I’m more of a caretaker right now. I am enjoying documenting the discoveries and sharing things that others may not encounter often.

What caliber is it? That looks he bought it & hid it from his wife, then forgot where he put it.:D
Oh, sorry. This is a .22 LR. The handgun is built to something approximating Peacemaker but chambered in .22. Bulkier than a Ruger Single Six.
