The most attractive feature, for me, is the 10/22 mag compatibility.

I will have to try one, because before I fired a Mosin 91/30

I was ambivalent, now I have Mosin fever. Both the M44 and

the Desert Eagle .44 kick out a hilarious fireball, with stock

ammo. So I have to agree that a lot of any gun's real

attraction lies in shooting it. It would seem to be the perfect

    partner pistol to the 10/22...

This thing is a piece. I just watched YouTube reviews of it. When they designed the pistol...safety was not a concern. All the normal things like...oh i dunno...an ejector so you can remove a round from the chamber...not there. To charge it you put your hand in front of the barrel to push back the charging handles? Really? That's not only not safe it's kinda dumb. It misfires when a mag is inserted, fires when changing between safe and unsafe. Has failures non stop especially once it's warm. Also, this would annoy me most, the ejection port is right on top of your trigger finger. So if you don't have thin fingers be prepared to be catching brass and getting burned. I think they just wanted to make a cool, new, different, handgun no matter what. Yeah its different, but its a,major fail. Maybe if they address the safety and reality issues...

As if we don't have enough crap to hang off our ar's now we have a zip gun rail system. I can just see the marketing...

"To our troops in afghanistan...you can now lay down a suppressive fire on the taliban and the groundhogs at one time!"

Those look scary unsafe for all the reasons that were already mentioned.

Exactly. Its a toy that caters to a certain segment of the population that sit in their momma's basement arguing about which gun is best for the zed apocalypse.

That's right. Id love to find a bio of the company founders and r&d team. Guaranteed they are under 30

Edit: so i have continued looking around their site, mainly trying to find a company bio, and found a rebuild kit. Its a kit that contains springs, pins, screws, all the stuff that naturally fails over time. They call it the "100% Life" kit. A blatant video game reference. I fear for the world as my generation comes to power.

A "three way" is not a firearms term. :p

I was intrigued by it as well and I posted a similar question about It last year. And pretty much got the same responses you're getting now. I always figure: see if it's still around next year. And if it even IS around then it would probably be improved. The way I see it that pistol is still in the "retail beta testing" phase as I like to call it.

I think it is funny they call it a "Zip" gun and that term refers to a cobbled makeshift weapon.

Attaching a pistol to a rifle creates a short barreled rifle.
