Hi folks, I'm a military man and have been shooting since I was 13. Started with .22 T-bolt and went all the way to 84mm Recoilless rifle (anti-tank). But my military experience has been in rifles/machineguns. As a civillian, I own a Rutger Charger .22, a SIG P226 9mm and STI .45ACP. My Rutger has bipod and crosshair sights which my company's shooting club does not permit in competitions. Thus the question: I need a .22LR pistol for "standard" competition - target shooting. Would you (price difference being 20euro/30USD so it is no consideration) choose a Hammerli X ESSE or a Browning Buckmark Bullseye Target? I'm not one for "reputations" but for operational efficiency, accuracy, ease of maintenance. Please share your thoughts and the reasons. Thanks.
