Took my Sig P226 to the range today, after I grinded down the triggerface a bit.
    The result was o.k.
She felt good and smoothe. I just need to move the rear sight a bit to the right and maybe put a #8 front sight on.

    Open Range
    Sig Sauer P226 9mm Luger
    Distance: as usual 25m
    Weaver stance

    Here the slightly modifed triggerface:

And here the results from this morning

How come you ground on the trigger? Was it too sharp on the edges?

The trigger distance didn`t match to my small hands, so I made the trigger a bit thinner......:D

Just an FYI, Sig makes a short reset trigger. They sell them as an assembly, or they'll install one for you.

    I know.

I tried the short trigger from a P6, that has the same geomitry as the original one, only that is is thinner, but that one is to thinn.
By grinding down the original triggerm I made a custom distance to match my hands........

But I don`t have the problem with the reset on the Sig, just the distance of the trigger face.
