Did a bullseye match this evening. 18 shooters: 3 women, 15 men (trying to change that ratio in the community)

5, 10, and 15 yards per match. Scoring ring totals for each distance. Ladies scores only count for ladies class. Rimfire only counts for rimfire, centerfire only for centerfire. Overall is rim and center combined.

    1st Place Ladies
    1st Place Rimfire
    1st Place Centerfire
    1st Place Overall

4 medals and the coveted gift certificate.

    I'm lovin' it. :D

I shot the new Browning Buckmark .22, and the Ruger .45. Both are very sweet firearms.

    Thanks every one! :D

No, but the range owner took a photo of me with the medals and gift certificate. He's supposed to send it to me email, but it's a holiday weekend and all.

I'll post it when I get it!

Really awesome scores! It makes all the effort worthwhile when you get serious confirmation of your skills like that, doesn't it. Well done :)

The only match I haven't yet shot (and won) in my local range is the "low light" match. It's like IDPA on steroids. It's an indoor range scenario with the lights out and "missions" to accomplish - for example, you have to pick up a bag of groceries with your strong hand and draw and shoot the "bad guys" lurking between your "front door" and "kitchen" with your weak hand without shooting your family member "hostages". Again, this is in the dark.

I'm practicing up for that one and plan to win it soon. :) ;) :p :D
