H&R long or short barrel

i love to turkey shoot and trying to figure if i want the long or short barrel for my new h&r. i have a maverick 88 12 ga that i have won several shoots with, will the h&r perform as good as my maverick

I have a H&R single shot 20ga turkey gun with a 22" barrel and a full choke. It shoots very nice.

long is better, less kick. as far as pain.....its OOOWWWW with a long bbl, DANG/OWWW/OMG THAT HURT with a short one.

I would go with the long, but its really a matter of personal preference. Stop by the intro section when you get the chance.
