have the same rifle to get the most out of it use 45 to 55 grain bullets. mine has taking a liking to the 45 grain winny white box. you can find alot more info on these rifles at grey beard outdoors. the handi has a huge following over there

mine shoots 1 at a hundred if i do my part. my friend of 40 years who owned the rifle before me was a little closer with his handloads

keep in mind you can always update the stock instead of the vanilla wood. i believe something of the tatical look like mine can be had for about 89.00. i bought mine with nice stock on it from my buddy for 225.00 pus a new scope for under a 100.00 bi pod and all i have about 375.00 in it and amy very pleased
