What gun do really wish you had kept? With me it probably would be a very cherry Argentina Mauser,I sold it for 85 dollars in the late 70s.

My biggest gun related regret is that I sold my 8" barrelled Colt Python back in the mid-1980's. Now, I will never sell any of my firearms.

I sold a Colt Peace Maker .22 Mag/.22LR back in the 70's. I really wished I held on to it.

1967, need cash really bad. Sold a Madsen 30-06 in MINT condition w/ bayonet for $50. Sucker still owes me $25 of the $50. If I ever run across him again, will collect the $25 he still owes me. Oh YES, I will collect !!!

Bushmaster AR-15 about 2.5 years ago. I needed money to make ends meet, and had no choice. Had to feed the family, and that always takes first.

    ...it still sucked, though. :(

The only gun I have ever sold was an old youth 12 gauge breech loader that my dad bought me from a pawn shop when I was 10. I don't even recall what make it was, but I do remember the hours that he spent stripping, sanding, hand chercking, and refinishing it. Killed my first Deer with it, A Georgia white tail about the size of a large dog. Now that my dad is gone, every time I open my shotgun safe I wish that I still had it to give to my grandaughter when she gets old enough.:(

Model 29 Smith and a Ruger gp 100. Both 6" and blue. I've replaced them with ss models since but I wish I never sold them. I'll never sell any of my "quality" guns again.

I've never sold any of my few firearms; that would be hard for me.

When I went through my divorce, I was forced to sell a few of my guns. There are two that I really regret and still miss to this day.
My Beretta 96 Brigadier "Border Marshal"
    My Winchester .444 Timber Carbine

    Truly timely
I sold my Kimber Eclipse Pro recently, My son is up for a weeks leave and deserves to enjoy it. Sometimes you give up something you will miss for something more important at the time. She was a safe queen anyway.

    I had 6 that I regret, a pristine 1909 Argentine Mauser, a Spanish FR-8 Mauser and a military-commercial Mauser that had been re-barreled with a 2 groove Springfield barrel chambered in .30/06, a scoped Ruger Super Blackhawk, a stainless Ruger Redhawk and a Taurus 441 with a 3-inch barrel that I traded for a S&W model 29.

Colt Gold Cup 1911. Jammed constantly from day one and rather than fix it I traded for a SW .45 revover and a .22 snub nose.
