I bought a rifle at the Lakeland gun show yesterday. I know, I know, you want pictures and I'll try to post some a a day or two. But anyway, does this sound like a good deal to you? It is a M-98 Mauser action rebarreled to .308 Win., new low scope bolt handle, low scope safety, matte finish (probably a home bluing job, but it looks good w/ no overlapping or blotches), a low mounted scope installed (a Tasco 3-9), a plain walnut stock of unknow make, swivel studs installed, no checkering, cheek piece. Not sure if the trigger has been replaced but it does not feel military. Total price was rifle, tax, and call just under $400 out the door. I think I got a good deal. I just hope it shoots. It was sold by a regular gun store and they said if I had any problems that they would make it right. It wasn't sold from a table w/ some joe blow off the street selling guns.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I think that's a lower end scope, but it works.
