I just bought my second pistol a Beretta PX4 Storm .40 S&W. It's brand new and I have shot it once since I bought it. I only went through the 2 mags that came with it. I don't know if it's any good or not but I went on Ebay after looking around for oils and grease and bought a combo pack of Gun Butter. It came with a pin like oiler with a pocket clip and a small bottle of Complete Firearm Lubricant and a syringe of Trigger and Locking Lug Grease. My question is, why do they say not to put the grease on the slide or slide rails? I watched Youtube and saw someone showing how to clean a Glock he was dressed up like a spokesman type guy not a regular type guy just uploading a how to. This guy used the Gun Butter grease a drop on both sides of the rail and a drop on each rail and spread it out. The Gun Butter website says to use the I call it the oil.
I don't see where it will hurt IMO to grease the slide so this is why I want a second opinion. The oil has good adhesion and doesn't run. I used it on my XD but my Beretta has a rotating barrel so there is more movement going on inside this gun.
