Welcome, Ray. You said in another post you're near the Lake George region. That's a really nice area -- I've vacationed in Lake George and Saratoga Lake during many summers in the past. Drop a line if your travels ever bring you near Rochester.

The Mrs. and I honeymooned in Lake George about 26 years ago. Not too long a drive from the 1,000 Islands where we grew up and were married. BTW bkt, you misspelled "Rochster". "Can-O-Worms" and all that.

Sorry 'bout the spelling. They fixed the "can o' worms", (a very messy highway junction between two major arteries and it was confusing as heck) by the way.

I wish I lived closer to Rochester - I'd put in an application with Kodak - God knows there's no work down here!

Yes I used to go to Americade every year when I had my bike on the road - but it got to be nothing more than a Harley convention, and owning a Honda I kinda stood out! Although there seem to be more GoldWings there now than Harleys.
It's a beautiful lake and I used to take my kids camping on the Islands there when I had a boat. But I found the old adage about boats to be true - "A Hole in the Water that you keep dumping Money into"! Now I just shoot and reload - and even that's getting ridiculously expensive!

I wish I had bought property on Lake George way back - I'd be a millionaire now - of course I wouldn't be able to pay the taxes, but I'd make a fortune selling.
