I bought a steel blank for a 10-inch clip point bowie blade. When I realized it has a minor defect or blemish on it near the guard, it was too late to return it. If someone wants a "Mountain Man Bowie" to use, or can accept it with a very small imperfection, I will make him a super deal on a handmade knife. I would put a specially treated elk antler handle fitted with a fancy wooden end cap on the blade. It is fabricated from 420c stainless steel and has a brass finger guard. It measures 2 inches at its widest point. One side of the knife has no flaws so it could even be displayed. Contact Randy at rp50817@windstream.net. Feel free to call 402-443-4947 or 402-304-1422. My estimate is $40 - $45. Check out the of the defect in the attached photo. The blemish is much larger in the photo than on the knife. The defect is roughly 1/8 inch square, maybe less.
