It was definitely a Gun SHOW not a gun sale. For example: New Ruger Take Down 10 22 Stainless $589. Junky old Enfields and Mausers $400 and up. Ishapore Enfield $500
Ammo was reasonable, Factory pistol ammo in the common calibers $18.00 for 50 rounds.
It was a good social hour.
I haven't been to a gun show for quite some time, I think the last time was at Seven Feathers Casino, it's always seemed like the prices were too high and I do better with gun shops and once and awhile friends have what I need. As to ammo, it's really coming back on the shelves in Grants Pass and Medford. Contrary to liberal belief, there is no such thing as a Gun Show Loophole, background checks are required, the last time I was able to pay the cash for a firearm and walk out the door was when we lived in the Denver area, many years ago. Now here in Oregon the PTB wants background checks on transfers of firearms from family, friends and others, some sheriffs say they won't support that, but that could be a bit spotty, we'll see how that all washes out as time goes on.
From what i hear a lot if gun shows prices are high.
