My buddy needed to clear his third bedroom/office out. I've been admiring his gun cabinet for years because it displays rifles horizontally rather than vertically. I like to see the side of the rifle rather than the trigger guard and underside of the stock. Long story short, he gave it to me and delivered it yesterday. Then to top off his generosity, he and his girlfriend took us out to lunch.

I had to move two shelving units out of the cave and to the basement to accommodate it. There was a side benefit to that, I got my tools and the basement fairly well organized.

Obligatory pic is below. You'll notice that it's empty. This is because of the late and lamented FTF Cruise whereupon we all lost all our firearms. However, I can just picture rifles in there, if I had any.

That's a nice cabinet. I wouldn't mind something like that myself.

I like it! Too bad you have to restart your rifle collection. I know how you feel, I lost mine in the great fire.

Congrats! Nice looking and spacious gun cabinet there Don. :D

The famouse FTF Cruise. Yes, lots of members, lost lots of valuable firearms on that cruise. A very sad day indeed, that will go down in infamy. :(

That´s a good looking gun cabinet, would love to have something like that. Too bad it wouldn´t be legal in my country unless it was placed in a lockable gun room.

Holy storage for sunken firearms batman. That is a beauty and you cant beat the price. That is some sturdy craftsmanship to boot.

It has old style skeleton key locks. They don't work. I'm going to take them out and see if I can get them to function.

Nice. I'd probably take the time to redo the felt.

Very nice. I like the horizontal style, as opposed to the vertical that you normally see.

Nice looking gun cabinet. You can always put cardboard cutouts to give it a sense of being full of rifles:D
