Very nice looking rifle. I want one, but then again there isn't many rifles that I don't want. Thanks for sharing the photos with us and hope to see a range report in the future.

I have one with a 4 groove barrel. This 03A3 was used by the Arizonia Guard Shooting team years ago. I shoot cast bullets in the old girl it is very accurate. Thx for posting your 03A3.:)

Very nice 03. I have one that was Bubbaized before I got it, sure wish it wasn't. It shoots great but it still isn't pure. The only thing I would do to that one is shoot it and wipe down the stock with some linseed to preserve it.

Own a 1903 and a few 1903A03s, some still military, others sporterized. They shoot well.

    plumbernater,

That is one fine 1903A-3! For god sake man keep it original. They are becoming prizes to be sought after in their original state and are also worth some good money now days. I have one that I got from a good friend who has also passed away many years ago and the finish is still on the bolt face. Yes! I do shot it about 5-10 rounds per year just for nostalgia reasons clean it and put her back in the safe. You have a nice piece there my friend! Take care of her! :)
