My friend is selling his savage model 93 17hmr. With a vortex crossfire scope, with a bi-pod, 2 mags, and 250 rounds of ammo for 350$. I am not sure if this is a good deal or not? I am new to guns if you haven't guessed by now...

i have that rifle and given all the work i have done to mine and what i paid for it NIB about nine years ago, that price IMO seems reasonable to me.

He just told me he would sell it for 300. Even better I guess? How long do the barrels last on these things?

much better deal. i'd pay that for sure.

doubtful you will be able to shoot out the barrel in your lifetime.

I used to have a model 93, I wish I didn't sell it, the price is pretty reasonable, it sounds like you got my old gun lol

Buy it. The ammo is worth at least 60 dollars, never mind the scope or tripod. You will not shoot the barrel out. May I have his # just in case you don't buy it!

The only thing I could improve on mine is a threaded barrel for the suppressor.

It is a good price. The ammo alone is worth $70.
