The Trijicon or Aimpoint Micro have reasonably good track records of not breaking in use, if that's what you mean. The Trijicon RMR is obviously smaller than the Aimpoint Micro.

Are you using the handgun for hunting or carry?

I presume you're using it for carry, in which case I will say that a compatible holster is expensive.

Do you have difficulty picking up the iron sights? If so, fiber optic sights can help. Self luminous Tritium sights help a lot at night.
